Welcome to this tutorial, first let me introduce to you this plugin and how to use it within few minutes time. This plugin basically has two features, feature number one will help your video getting more views by inserting a Facebook comment box at the bottom of that video, so when a Facebook user comments on that video, his or her comment will appear in his or her Facebook’s profile page and newsfeed. So if his friends see that comment with that video on it, and if his friends comment again on that comment then the video will appear on those friends newsfeed as well. In this way the video will get more views from there onward which is simply a great way to share your video online. Besides that, those comments will also appear on your post which has that video on it and thus increase the content of the post day after day! Feature number two will allow you to insert different video in the sidebar of different post which is another great way for you to target a user who only interested in a certain topic.

If you are the user of the old version, you might found some features such as the image and the links are now retired from the post area. The image feature will come back again when the single page feature is included in the next update. The link feature will retire because there are no demand for such a feature and in order to save space of the meta box area therefore the feature is now gone. The ‘like video’ feature is also gone as the demand for it is very little. This plugin will continue to move forward and those features that are lack of user will get retired sooner or later, the remaining two features in this version will stay on. No more feature will get removed from now on so don’t worry about that.

Currently I am working on the third feature which is the video portal page feature where you can show a group of videos in a single page of your blog. This new feature will be included in the next update which is sometime in 2013. Alright, so much for the introduction, lets get started.

Start to create a new post/page now or edit your old post/page, in either way you will see below meta box

in your edit or new post/page area, now it is very simple, all you have to do is to copy a youtube share link (make sure it is your own video on youtube because it is no point to use other people video in your own post) and insert it into the content text box of this meta box. Then insert another link into the sidebar text box for the video on the sidebar of that post or page. If you want to know how the youtube share link looks like, here is a sample of it.

Remember you need to use the correct type of share link or else the video will not show up in your post. You can leave both boxes or either one empty as you wish, only the box that has link on it will render the video.

Next published your new post or updated the old one and you should see the video appears on your post. If you are using any plugin to cache your post make sure you deleted the cache or else you will need to wait after the expire date of that cache in order to see the video.

If you have not include the sidebar widget on the sidebar of your blog yet then we will need one more last step in order to show the video on the sidebar of your post. Go to the Widgets page and drag below widget

into any sidebar you wish the video to appear on, close it and that is it.

Now you should see two videos appear on the end of this content and the sidebar of this post. Try to comment on the Facebook comment box below the video and see by yourself how this plugin is going to help you to get more viewers to view your video online!
