How to Embed a WordPress Blog into a Website? – Part One

The first thing I have in mind after getting my own website is how to embed the WordPress blog into my own website. This is something I need to do first because the best way to attract traffic to our site is to have a blog which will update daily with fresh news and information. The process to embed a WordPress blog into a website is actually not that difficult after all, just a few lines of code will do the job for me, the difficult part is to look for a right web template to fit into my own website, lots of web template will get dislocated when I try to embed my entire blog includes header, sidebar and footer into a brand new website. If you pick the wrong theme then you will need to start all over again and maybe again and again. Therefore, how to pick the right web template is a big headache to me. Phew, anyway, here are the first three steps that you need to embed your blog into a website, hope this will help.

1. First you need to download WordPress into your own website root folder, better create a new folder and name it whatever you want under your website root folder and download those WordPress files into it.
2. Create a broken link by changing the index.html file of your website to index.ht-ml , then create another new index file and name it index.php, this is because you need to write everything (well, most of the coding) using php now.
3. Go to the side bar of your own WordPress admin panel and click on the Appearance tab, then click on Add New Themes and pick a web template that you like the most, this will be the hardest part and I will tell you why in part two of the post.
